OLIVE OIL: Olive oil is reformulated to provide softness and hydration to the soap base.

GLYCERIN: obtained from sustainable sources such as rapeseed oil, it is a humectant, meaning it retains moisture. In soap, it helps keep moisture close to the skin, making the soap moisturizing.

PROPYLENE GLYCOL (PG): used in hand sanitizers and as an excipient in medical tablets, in cosmetics it is considered an excellent humectant, meaning it carries water-based ingredients, ensuring hydration and protection for the skin.

SORBITOL: a sweetener used in both food and cosmetics. Its humectant and stabilizing properties are highly valued in soap base production, helping prevent mold formation.

SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE (SLES): an anionic surfactant used in many rinse-off products. It is milder and less irritating than SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE (SLS), which is why our products are SLS-free.

SODIUM LAURATE: the sodium salt of lauric acid, which is abundant in dairy products, animal fats, and tropical oils. High concentrations of lauric acid are found in coconut oil used in our bases.

SODIUM STEARATE: the sodium salt of stearic acid, a plant-derived fatty acid. It provides viscosity without weighing down the product and improves spreadability on the skin.

SODIUM COCO-SULFATE: composed of fatty acids derived from coconut oil.

COCO-GLUCOSIDE: one of the most appreciated surfactants in DIY cosmetics. Known for its exceptional mildness and high dermatological compatibility, it is also suitable for sensitive skin, including babies.

COCO-AMIDOPROPYL BETAINE: a synthetic fatty acid derived from coconut, widely used in shampoos and soaps (including intimate cleansers) thanks to its antiseptic properties.

ETIDRONIC ACID: used as an emulsion stabilizer and viscosity controller. It neutralizes metals present in water, making the soap effective even in “hard” water.

TITANIUM DIOXIDE: a natural mineral used in cosmetics. It appears as a white powder and is widely found in nature. It has a high refractive index and can absorb, reflect, and scatter sunlight, which is why it is used in sun protection products. Compared to chemical filters, physical filters are more environmentally sustainable.

SUGAR SYRUP (SUCROSE): helps increase transparency and produces a light, foamy lather.

SODIUM THIOSULFATE: vanilla stabilizer.

SILICA: found in barley, soy, oats, beetroot, whole grains, roots, and herbs such as nettle and borage. In cosmetics, it is used to increase the viscosity of the soap base.

Are your products gluten-free?
Yes, all our products are completely gluten-free, ensuring safety for those who are sensitive or intolerant.

Do you use palm oil in your products?
No, all our products are completely free from palm oil. We are committed to offering sustainable alternatives such as coconut oil.

Do your soaps contain caustic soda?
Of course: caustic soda (or similar substances) is used in soap making, both artisanal and industrial; however, the soap base does not contain free caustic soda. It acts as a saponification agent, reacting with fatty acids (such as olive oil or coconut oil), a process used for centuries and fundamental in soap making.

Do you test on animals?
Absolutely not. We are committed to ethical production and do not test any of our products on animals.

Is the glycerin you use plant-based?
Yes, the glycerin we use is derived from rapeseed oil, ensuring a fully plant-based origin.

Are your products SLS-free?
Yes, all our products are completely SLS-free. We ensure gentle and safe ingredients for the skin.

Which bases are suitable for vegans?
All our bases are vegan, except for the Goat Milk base, which contains ingredients of animal origin.

Are the coconut oil derivatives you use from sustainable sources?
We cannot guarantee that every single ingredient comes from certified sustainable sources, but we continuously work with our suppliers to find more sustainable solutions and reduce environmental impact.

Where does your glycerin come from?
Our glycerin is derived from rapeseed oil, ensuring a natural, plant-based origin with lower environmental impact compared to animal-derived glycerin.
