Usage Guide:
Preparation:
- Pre-weigh the mixtures and cut the quadriassale fabric according to the mold dimensions.
- Apply a gel coat of 1-2 mm on the mold and wait for it to become dry to the touch but not completely dry.
Application:
- Use approximately 1.75 kg of mixture per square meter for each mm of thickness.
- Create a mixture of material and apply a thin layer to wet the back of the gel coat.
- Lay the first layer of quadriassale fabric on the fresh gel coat and apply more material to ensure complete saturation of the fabric.
Laminating:
- Set aside a portion of the mixture, adding 3-5% by weight of coarse chopped strand (13 mm) and mix.
- Brush the mixture onto the mold and apply a second layer of quadriassale fabric.
- Use any remaining material to complete the lamination.
Curing:
- Leave the panel in the mold for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- For flat panels, add ribs to the back to enhance strength.
- After demolding, place the object in a warm, dry environment. Curing time varies from 24 to 48 hours depending on thickness.
