Colorless satin varnish for worktops

Description: This satin clear paint is perfect for use on epoxy resin, raw wood, and painted surfaces. Ideal for renewing resin and wood worktops and kitchen furniture, it is suitable for occasional contact with food*.

• Complies with the chemical inertness test according to parts 1, 2 and 3 of standard ENV 1186, with contact times limited to 2 hours, for contact with food and liquids such as alcohol, acids, and fats.

Usage:

Recommended for protecting worktops, boards, and kitchen furniture, as well as coating epoxy resin objects (trays, cutting boards, plates, glasses, utensils, and table tops). Compatible with all European and exotic wood species, as well as painted and laminated surfaces.

Note: The paint may appear slightly milky during application, but dries completely clear and satin.

Application Instructions:

Preparation:

1. Before application, add the included additive to the paint. Mix for at least two minutes and let rest for five minutes.
2. For raw wood: sand with fine-grit sandpaper (240) and remove dust with a cloth.
3. For painted, resin-coated, or laminated surfaces: clean with a soda-based detergent, rinse, and let dry. Sand and dust off.

Application:

• Ideal conditions: Apply on clean, dry raw wood between 12° and 25°C, away from drafts and direct sunlight.
• After adding the additive, apply a generous first coat using a brush or roller along the wood grain and let dry for 4 hours.
• Sand lightly with fine-grit sandpaper (240) and dust off.
• Apply a second coat with the same technique and allow to dry for 24 hours.
