Directions for Use (Summary)

Preparation

• New wood: Sand with 120–150 grit (floors).
• Old finishes:
  • Floors → sand down to bare wood
  • Furniture → sand with 240 grit on solid coatings
• Surface: Dry, clean, and free of wax/silicones
• Wood moisture:
  • Hardwoods ~12%
  • Softwoods ~15%

First Coat

• Ready to use
• Apply with a short-pile roller or soft acrylic brush
• Coverage: 8–10 m²/L

Intermediate Coat

• Wait approximately 4 hours
• Lightly sand with 240 grit (without exposing bare wood)
• Remove dust

Top Coat

• Walkable after ~8 hours
• Lay rugs no sooner than 8 days

Differences Compared to Other Products

• Water-based vs. solvent-based: Reduced odor, A+ emissions, easy tool cleaning, fast drying between coats
• Transparent with high filling power: Enhances the grain and minimizes brush/roller marks

Expert Tips

• Work at 15–25 °C and 40–80% RH
• Ventilate rooms well
• Avoid direct sunlight (too rapid drying)
• For floors with tongue-and-groove joints, apply a small amount in the groove to avoid bonding
• Use acrylic-compatible seals on doors
