Why is Polyaspartic Resin Better than Epoxy or Polyurethane?
✅ Ultra-fast application – Polyaspartic is ready in just one day, while epoxy and polyurethane require longer drying times.
✅ UV Resistance – Unlike epoxy, which yellows over time, polyaspartic remains stable and retains its color even outdoors.
✅ Climate Versatility – Can be applied in various temperature and humidity conditions, where epoxy and polyurethane are limited.
✅ Superior Durability – More resistant to scratches, chemicals, and heavy loads than other resins.
✅ Modern Aesthetic Finishes – Allows for unique designs with metallic effects, colored sand, or glitter, offering more possibilities than epoxy or polyurethane.
Final Top Coat Solid Content (%):
- 96±2% (by weight, mixed)
- 95±2% (by volume, mixed)
A 96±2% solid content is extremely high, indicating that most of the product remains on the surface after solvent evaporation.
Why Is This Important?
- High solid content = Less Waste – More of the product contributes to the final coating, reducing losses due to evaporation.
- Thicker Coating Per Application – Achieves a thicker layer with fewer coats, saving time and product.
- High Performance – Coatings with high solid content offer better durability, increased chemical resistance, and superior protective properties.
🚨 Contains isocyanates. May cause an allergic reaction.
Reading the safety data sheet is mandatory before use.
From August 24, 2023, proper training is required before any industrial or professional use.
Comparison
Standard paints or coatings typically have a solid content between 30% and 70%. A 96±2% content is characteristic of premium or high-performance products.
