LUXRESIN – The Revolution in Polyurethane Resin
Polyurethane resin for high thicknesses (up to 40 cm)
Innovation and Durability for Your Bold Projects
LUXRESIN presents itself as a cutting-edge solution in the field of two-component polyurethane resins. Ideal for applications requiring exceptional performance, its advanced formula guarantees crystal-clear transparency combined with total yellowing resistance, even at significant thicknesses. This combination ensures high-level performance in both indoor and outdoor environments, effectively resisting intense UV exposure.
Exceptional Castings
A distinctive feature of LUXRESIN is its unique ability to be cast in thicknesses of up to 40 cm, thanks to its low exothermic reaction (<50°C). This advanced technological aspect allows for the creation of large-thickness works while maintaining perfect control over the heat of reaction, a significant advantage for innovative and bold projects.
To ensure a perfectly homogeneous surface, it is recommended to apply the product in castings of NO LESS than 5 mm.
Superior Mechanical Properties
After curing, LUXRESIN ensures excellent mechanical properties, with surface hardness and abrasion resistance that set new standards in the industry. Its versatility makes it ideal for projects requiring high-level aesthetics and long-lasting durability.
Given its high performance, this product requires perfectly dry surfaces, as any residual moisture during catalysis can create air bubbles.
Transparency and Anti-Yellowing Protection
Luxresin offers unparalleled transparency and total, long-lasting protection against yellowing. These features ensure that the beauty and clarity of your creations remain intact over time: Luxresin will be the ideal application companion for your most precious projects!
To ensure maximum transparency, it is highly recommended to use a degasser to eliminate any air bubbles created during mixing.
Technical Tips for Optimal Application:
Degassing: Use a vacuum pump to remove air bubbles from the mixture. This step is crucial to ensure a perfectly transparent final result.
Degassing Procedure: Mix the resin thoroughly, place it in the vacuum pump, and apply the vacuum in three stages. Each stage progressively reduces the size and quantity of the bubbles.
Absence of Moisture: Ensure that the substrate is completely dry before application. Any trace of moisture can react with the isocyanate, creating bubbles within a few hours.
Polishing: Polish within a maximum of two weeks from application. After this time, the resin becomes excessively hard, making the polishing process much more challenging.
Additional Considerations:
Attention: Luxresin requires more care during application compared to epoxy resins, due to its sensitivity to moisture (water molecules react with the resin, creating air bubbles). However, it guarantees a more durable result compared to traditional resins.
